The collections consist of vintage glass beads that were only made from the 1920s - 1960s in West Germany. They were handcrafted using a glass press and plated with 24K gold. The plating was done by first plating the glass with platinum and then plating over it with gold, which inevitably left a seam, an indication that a bead is vintage. Unfortunately, the makers factories were sadly destroyed during WWII thus making them rare and considered collectible.

As a result, each bead has their own story and their own lovely characteristics that makes even each one more unique and beautiful. Each truly hold a story of their own. The beads used are "new old stock" and was acquired from a collector and a makers grand-daughter.
